Repair Process & Information

1. SCHEDULING

Coulter Collision Center schedules repairs based on many different factors. It is our goal to handle your repair in the most efficient and timely manner possible. By taking care of the administrative and parts ordering functions before you leave the vehicle for repairs, the length of repair time necessary can be greatly reduced.

2. REPORT A CLAIM

You will need to do this as soon as possible after the loss in order to prevent needless delays. Our expert staff is trained to ask you the questions that will allow us to assist you in an efficient manner.

3. ESTIMATES

If your vehicle is safe to drive following an accident, it is recommended that you call Coulter Collision Center to schedule an estimate. Although an appointment is not required, it will eliminate the possibility of a lengthy wait when you arrive. Call us at 602-532-4655 to schedule your appointment or request an appointment online.

4. PAYMENT INFORMATION

All repair work must be paid in full prior to picking up the vehicle unless arrangements have been made in advance to bill the insurance company directly. The person listed on the credit card or check must be present when payments are made.

5. RENTAL CAR COMPANIES

Rental arrangements are best made prior to your scheduled repair date. Enterprise and Hertz are conveniently located very close to our facility and will pick you up when you drop your vehicle off for repairs. If your vehicle is towed into our shop, your customer service rep will help you coordinate with the rental company to pick you up at your home or office.

6. TOWING COMPANIES

If in doubt as to whether your vehicle is safe to drive after an accident, it is highly recommended that it be towed to Coulter Collision Center from the accident scene. Additional damage caused by driving may not be covered under the insurance policy. Sometimes the police will have the vehicle towed from the scene of the accident to an impound lot that is under contract with that particular city.

7. INSURANCE INFORMATION

There is a great deal of variance as to how insurance companies handle payments for collision repairs. Many companies are billed directly after repairs have been completed and you are back in your vehicle. Others will issue payments before any work is started.
